6. Louhisaari Manor, Kultaranta Presidential Gardens and a Piece of the Archipelago
The tour starts with a refreshing welcome coffee in the vicinity of the Louhisaari Manor. The program continues with a guided tour in the birth place of Marshall Mannerheim, the Louhisaari Manor, after which we will enjoy a delicious lunch in Rymättylä. Every participant receives a genuine loaf of island bread to take home. The highlight of the day is the magnificent Kultaranta Gardens.
In the various destinations, there are guides, and the tours are walking tours. Louhisaari Manor has many stairs, but those participants with motion handicaps can take a virtual tour of the manor. The excursion can be carried out from May 15th till September 30th.
Please observe the time restrictions in the visiting hours at Kultaranta during the summer. Visiting hours for groups (1st Jun-31st Aug): Tue-Fri 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.-4 p.m., Sat-Sun 9 a.m.-12.30 p.m. and 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Please note that during the summer, the gardens are closed on Mondays.
Duration: ca. 5.5 hours
Price 2013 for a group consisting of 30 participants: EUR 52/person
(Tuesday-Friday) incl. cup of coffee and a sandwich, admission fees, guided tours in the Louhisaari Manor and Kultaranta, lunch and archipelago style bread.
For groups with more than 30 paying participants, the tour is free of charge for the tour leader and the driver.
Price for this tour is valid for the period of 15th May to 31st Aug, 2013. Tour occurring in September have a slightly higher price, since during the autumn the Louhisaari Manor is open by reservation only.
